The screen printing process involves the use of one screen per colour, per design. The screen consists of 2 parts; mesh and stencil. The mesh allows the ink to pass through onto the fabric and the stencil blocks the other parts thereby making them impermeable. A squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing ink through the mesh openings to wet the substrate below it leaving intense prints that dry into beautiful works of art.
